Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced technical project manager with a comprehensive understanding of SharePoint 2007 and 2010. The technical project manager will work together with the management team to help provide best-practice SharePoint solutions to all our clients. The successful candidate will bring in his or her creativity and relentless will to succeed, in return for a central share of our success.
Initially this position may be part time, with a clear path to a full time engagement. The ideal candidate will have the potential of eventually becoming an equity partner in our company.
Key Tasks:
a) Pre-sales:
- Be part of technical customer presentations
- Contribute to presentation setup
- Be part of Q&A sessions
- Validate technical parts of proposals
b) Delivery:
- Daily project management
- Resolution of complex technical problems
- Client liaison
- SharePoint configuration and testing tasks
- Review meetings with engineering teams
Requirements:
- 5+ years of SharePoint project management experience
- Total understanding of SharePoint architecture and object model
- Ability to use SharePoint Designer for best-practice site customizations
Deep knowledge of the following areas:
- SharePoint taxonomy creation
- SharePoint search
- BCS
- Authentication
- Workflows
- Backup and DR
Experience with Office 2010 integration and all other new SharePoint 2010 features
Solid networking and system administration experience
Additional non-mandatory qualifications:
General knowledge of the ECM market
Nintex workflows
Single Sign On
Reporting services
JQuery scripting
Third-party SharePoint tools
Compensation
Initially, the compensation will depend on project engagements. Eventually we expect the successful candidate to be a full-time member of our team, with a clear path to company equity.
